NGR: SP637024Tower mill function:Corn mill - restoration started in 2009

Entry in Mills Archive database - #1661 - Milton Common Mill, Great Haseley
This tower mill still survives. Originally built in 1760 (a date stone stating 1806 misleads), it had common sails, and two pairs of stones. It was in working order in the early 1900s and then fell into disrepair. In 1925 it was almost derelict and had become partly overgrown with ivy. The cap was repaired in the late 1970s.
