The pictured mill is at Horning Ferry in Norfolk, where it survives, in a very altered form today, converted in the 1930's into a 3 bedroomed holiday home. The elegant slim tower is now surrounded by rooms at ground level, and the tower flared out to form the roof that covers those rooms. The accommodation is all on the ground level, with ladder access to a first floor room in the body of the mill, and from there out via a glazed door to a riverside veranda. The building is now painted white, giving it a an overall Dutch toy like appearance.

Although a fairly realistic fantail is present (with its unusual count of 7 blades), the dummy sails bear no relation to the sails that once worked the mill.
