Lording's Waterwheel, an unusual wheel used to lift water from
the River Arun to the summit pound of the Arun Navigation, has recently been rebuilt. Its
first public demonstration was on 23rd May 2004. There was brief coverage of the waterwheel in the August 2004 issue of
Old Glory magazine.
