CONNELL & RIDINGS
Have been instructed to sell by private contract
THE STEAM FLOUR MILL
LATELY ERECTED IN WYNDHAM-STREET, BY MR. SNODGRASS, AND
The DWELLING-HOUSE Adjacent.
THE MILL is substantially built of Scoria, with a slate roof. Has four lofts, with two pairs of Stones, smutting and dressing machine, and other machinery. Its dimensions are twenty-four feet by thirty-three feet.
The Engine-house, at the rear of the Mill, is of brick, with an engine of 12-horse power.
The Allotment on which they stand has a frontage to Wyndham-street of fifty-one feet, and extends 115 feet in depth to Mills' Lane, which leads to West Queen-street.
This really valuable Property is, almost without exception, the best suited of any now for sale in Auckland to parties requiring extensive premises, from its central position, its proximity to Queen-street and the Wharf, its capabilities for the carrying on of a large business, its security from fire, and from its being immediately available at this most important season, either as a Mill or as a Store for Merchandize or Produce.
The value of Scoria Buildings has been felt within the last few days, and the advantage or having one ready for instant occupation, instead of being subjected to the delay, expense, and annoyance of erection can scarcely be overestimated.
