The sole record for this is a 1910 photo (presumably contemporary) from the Auckland Weekly News. The photo shows an apparently square wooden building, mounted on short piers to raise it above the ground. The building carries 4 planked sails, which are protruding from a corner of the building, rather than from a face of the building which would be more normal. There does not appear to be any obvious way in which the sails or the building could be aligned with the wind direction. The photo is cationed "A windmill for farm work at Takapuna, Auckland."
