Howick — 1 Acre being Lot 232, with frontage to Abercrombie Street of 191 links. It has a Windmill upon it, and is irrigated by a streamlet
The sale was "postponed in consequence of the inclemency of the weather" till Dec 23rd. (Daily Southern Cross, Volume XV, Issue 1198, 21 December 1858)

In April 1860 (ie. after the sale), John William White was recorded on the electoral roll as holding lot 232.
