Norfolk County Council
Thurne drainage Mill
This windmill was acquired and saved from dereliction by Mr R D Morse in 1949. Generous financial
assistance from Messrs. Hoseasons and Broadlands Owners Association, and other donors, made possible
the fitting of new sails and other repair work in 1962 under a county council scheme for the
preservation of Norfolk windmills.
