After many months of preparation, the
Mills Archive has launched its
online catalogue, currently containing over 7000 records, including
a large number of spectacular historic photographs of mills, such as
1300 images from the Rex Wailes Collection.
The initially available records are particularly strong on watermills in
Dorset, and windmills in Nottinghamshire, but cover the whole of the UK,
and also selected records of other countries.
