Yes2Wind - Map of New Zealand Windfarms

The Yes2Wind web-site, by Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, and WWF has been campaigning for wind energy in the UK for a couple of years. I notice the site now has a sister site, run by Greenpeace New Zealand, which carries on the same campaign in New Zealand.

A useful feature of the New Zealand site is a map of windfarms, which uses the Google Maps interface to provide maps and satellite views of the locations. Unfortunately at the moment the aerial views are not particularly high resolution, but by using this interface, if Google updates its imagery, the site will automatically improve.
