Saxon watermill replica at Gestingthorpe

Whilst looking for more info on the new post mill being built at Hill Farm, Gestingthorpe, I came across info on a replica Saxon watermill that was built by the Gestingthorpe History Group in the period 2015-18.

Reconstructed Saxon watermill, on Belchamp Brook which runs along the north edge of Hill Farm. There are some inaccuracies in the writeup - the type of waterwheel it uses is a horizontal waterwheel, (not a vertical one).
