I've been
sent a photo by the
Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston,
which they would like to identify. Its from a glass negative taken by the Berkeley-Weld family of Chipping in the early 20th
century. It shows a small smock mill on a river bank - by the fantail and cap layout I'd say its a drainage mill on the
Norfolk Broads, but I can't identify it more accurately than than. Please
take a look,
and see if you can identify it.
