Third turbine for Ford plant at Dagenham

There are currently 2 Ecotricity wind turbines at Ford's Dagenham Diesel Centre, powering the engine factory since 2004. The recent addition of an extra engine line (for 1.4- and 1.6-litre TDCi units) has increased the power needs of the site, and Ford is looking to apply for planning permission to install a third turbine to serve these needs.
