Charles Allen Clarke tribute tour of Fylde windmills
Shirley Matthews, the granddaughter of Charles Allen Clarke, is
organizing
a tour of the Fylde windmills, as a tribute to her grandfather who wrote a number of classic books about those windmills .
The tour, on June 10th, by classic bus loaned by Lancastrian Trust Transport, will visit 8 mills at
Marsh Mill, Lytham Mill, Little Marton Mill, Staining Mill, Clifton Mill, Pilling Mill, Treales Mill and Craggs Mill.
